The Children At Jamestown: We Now Don’t Have Anywhere To Play.

Since the inception of the Jamestown Fishing Harbor Project under the auspices of the Member Of Parliament for the Odododiodio Constituency,Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye began,we have no place to play again.

Hon.Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye

On my intentional visit to Accra,I decided to take a stroll and have a glance at the new project that is about to begin at fishing market. Upon arriving at Jamestown,I chanced upon these kids in a chit-chat sitting on a bench by their mother.

We Now Don’t Have Anywhere To Play.

As my curiosity increased,I took a step forward and approached these kids. Obviously,I know why they are not in school,so I quickly jumped to the issue at hand and asked them,”why are you guys sitting here quietly like?”

The elderly one responded,”because we don’t have anything to do and no where to play too.”

So I asked the seeming question, i asked where they normally play and how they ho about when playing. They all beamed and told me they know how they play and the place they play has been deserted.

The Deserted Jamestown Market.

I wanted to know more,so I further asked them,if they know what is going to be done here for the Market to be evacuated from here to its new place now.

They all responded in unison and answered in the affirmative. They are all aware of what is going to happen, what the place is going to be used for and why it has to be done.

We Know what The Place Is Being Used For.

Jamestown Fishing Harbor Project, well,a lot come in mind when I think of it. But all the same I can’t wait to see the finished work of it all,my expectations are anticipating.

What do you make of this project,do you have any expectations as I do? If yes, I would like to hear from you, let me know what you think in the comment section below.
