Lengendary Oak supporter was pronounced dead after involving in a car accident and was rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for tratment.
Popular Accra Hearts of Oak supporters’ leader, Shamo Quaye, has passed away. He reportedly died on Wednesday evening, August 19, 2020.
From various eyewitness accounts Quaye was crossing the road when he was knocked down and killed by a car with the registration number AS 9346-11. The driver failed to stop as he sped off immediately after the incident.
Police hunting for the driver and the vehicle involved in the crash.
Quaye is popular in Kumasi the home-base of their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko as he became one of the strongest voices for the club in the city.
