On Monday, 7th June 2021, Ghanaian-born Chelsea footballer, Callum Hudson-Odoi, paid a courtesy call on THE first gentleman of our land, H.E Nana Addo at Jubilee House, the seat of our nation’s presidency. The vibrant and energetic 20 years old young man had some valuable time with the President.
The young talented footballer visited the President with other dignitaries as well. Most present was the Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah who the President urged to explore the possibility of having young Callum switch nationality, and play for the Black Stars.
Callum James Hudson-Odoi is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team. During his time with Chelsea’s academy, Hudson-Odoi was part of the squads which won the U18 Premier League in 2017 as well as back-to-back FA Youth Cup titles. Callum is 20 years of age and has a height of 1.78 m.
This and many more are what the President and the people of Ghana are craving and looking forward to, such young boys making waves globally and in rich football teams that will definitely horn their talent to become the better versions of themselves in the teams they play for, for their country and the world at large.
