GERMAN AMBASSADOR PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO MRS. URSULA OWUSU-EKUFUL.

Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful  is a learned lawyer, women’s rights activist and a  Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency. She has been the Minister of Communications for Ghana since the assumption of power on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party in January 2017, which is now Ministry of Communication and Digitization.

Mrs. Ursula’s constituency has however tasted a level of development in her term of office. Showing a good display of professionalism, Mrs. Ekuful was payed a courtesy visit by the German Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Christoph Retzlaff. The meeting was very innovative and aimed towards Ghana becoming a digital base for worldwide technological experts through the establishment of tech parks and hubs and a cyber city. Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful emphasized on the good relationship between Ghana and Germany and replicated her commitment to further strengthen such.

She was also delighted and grateful for Germany’s input in the Cyber Security Act and the Cyber Security structure. Some personalities present were the Chief Director of the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization, Mrs. Magdalene Apenteng; National Cyber Security Advisor, Dr. Albert Antwi Boasiako; staff from the Ministry and representatives from the German Embassy. This is a good news to hear of and we hope the nation advances technologically in all fields and spheres of our economy and we also eulogize and highly commend Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful for the selfless service she has rendered and is still rendering to us.
