The National Cathedral of Ghana which is meant to be a planned interdenominational Christian cathedral for all Ghanaian is scheduled to be built in Accra, the nation’s capital, as part of Ghana’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The design for the cathedral was unveiled by the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, in March 2018 as part of his plans to transform the country to the apex of a well- defined development.
Excavation work has however started for the purpose of constructing the edifice which is going to house Christians during worship.
Leveling work is also in motion with respect to the preparation of the land for the building exercise. The Government of the country is also seeking for experienced workers to set up a good foundation for the building of the Cathedral so that no mistakes come up.
This project has been kept hanging and unattended to for sometime now and in the light of this revelation, President Akuffo-Addo and his Government are putting up pragmatic factors to immediately attend to this issue. The location of the National Cathedral is at Ring Road, Gamel Abdul Nasser Road.
According to the ruling party, this National edifice will soon be completed after trustworthy and laborious workers are employed and given charge over the building of this structure which will go a long way to unite believers all over the country.
