Another poor results secured as the Black stars of Ghana lost to the debutants, Comoros in this edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ghana was regarded as the favourites of this match but they were punished at the end of the game recording a 3-2 to loss to Comoros. Ghana has been kicked out of the competition following this sad loss.
This is the second time Ghana has been exited the AFCON tournament in the group stages since 2006. Comoros put an early goal at the back of the net after some few minutes in the first half to put them ahead of the Black stars.

Ghana was possessing the ball very well after they had conceded that early goal and things seemed to be going smooth until the referee red carded the skipper of the Ghana team, Andre Dede Ayew due to his lustrous challenge on the goal keeper of Comoros.
In the second half, Comoros equalized two goals to increase their lead to three while Ghana managed to put two at the back of the net. If Ghana had won this game by a larger margin then they would have proceeded to the next stage of the tournament.
As it stands now, the four time champions of the AFCON tournament have been eliminated from the competition following their display of poor performance and Ghanaian supporters will not be happy with the team for this, but Ghana still has a world cup qualifier play offs to take up.
For the Black stars to keep up with a good pace they need to work on themselves, make some changes, correct their mistakes and come back stronger in other competitions to come.
