Popular music star in Ghana and on the international front, Samuel Adu Frimpong (Medikal) has been ordered by the Accra circuit court to pay a sum of GHC 3,600 or serve a 9 month jail term as he pleaded guilty for displaying gun in public which is a criminal offence inscribed in the constitution of the country.
The “omo ada’’ hitmaker who came into the lime light years back was caught brandishing a gun in public using the social media as a channel some time ago.
This incident got the attention of the police and as such they arrested the culprit that is Medikal for offensive conduct.
He was granted bail after certain deliberations and the Accra circuit court spearheading the case passed its final verdict yesterday and it stated that Medikal has to comply with the injunction proposed or face an imprisonment term of 9 months.
As it stands now, the talented rapper has not yet given his stand on the issue. We will do well to update you when any notable information comes up.
