Records indicate that Jojo Wollacott was born in England but comes from Accra, Osu to be precised. He has not lost touch with his home and community as he has some uncles and aunties here. Wollacott states emphatically that his father and mother are both Ghanaians and they come from Osu which makes him a bonafide son of the soil.
Jojo Wollacott came through the shades of Bristol city and went on loan spells outside the EFL. He then joined the League Two side Forest Green Rovers on loan in 2019/2020, making his professional debut against Charlton. He then joined Swindon Town on an emergency loan in 2021, before signing a permanent deal at the start of the 2021/2022 season.
