The Manchester United captain was handed a 21 – month suspended sentence after being convicted of Aggravated Assault , Resisting Arrest and Repeated attempts of bribery in Greece.
Maguire 27, and two others his brother Joe Maguire and Christopher Sharman where all found guilty after a trial in Syros,Greece following an incident with another group whom they believed had injected his sister Diasey with a ‘date rape ‘drug which happened in the early hours of Friday Morning while Maguire was on holidays on the island of Mykonos with friends n family.
After the sentence ,Maguire maintains his innocence and determine to clear his name.
