Teshie-Nungua overhead is 60% done.

As part of the incumbent President’s aim to develop Accra and the country as a whole, the project to construct an overhead within the Teshie-Nungua enclave was started. The Teshie-Nungua road construction project is reported to as at now be 60% done.

The people of Teshie and Nungua were elated following the announcement and subsequent commencement of this project by the current President, H.E. President Akuffo Addo.

The residents of these communities used to lament about the deplorable state of the roads and the strain it had on them and their vehicles when they ply them.

Commuters complained of the dilapidated roads especially following heavy downpours. They also complained about getting stuck in traffic for an unpleasant amount of time.



The construction activities have however further impeded the flow of vehicles and led to heavy traffic on roads in the vicinity.

Residents and commuters are however comfortable enduring this temporal traffic congestions as they await the successful completion of the overhead project which will ease the traffic situation on the road and make their life better.
