Sadio Mane is one of the best football players in the world scoring 120 goals in 269 appearances at Liverpool after he moved from Southampton in 2016. The prolific striker was signed to replace Robert Lewandowski who is set to move to the Spanish football club Barcelona. Mane helped his country win the 2021 African Cup of Nations Trophy after beating Mohammed Salah’s Egypt in a penalty shoot-out decider.
The 30 year old striker has marvellous dribbling skills, powerful shooting accuracy and awesome strength when he has the ball on his feet. Players tremble when they go one on one with the striker because he has the ability to go past you no matter who you are on the field of play or what you do.
Bayern Munich signed Mane because they find him worthy of replacing their long serving striker Robert Lewandowski who is inching closer to leaving the club after winning several club and individual titles.
Mane has been counted as part of the nominees for this year’s ballon d’or award which is something great that he can boast of even if he does not win, he is also currently the top most paid football player in Africa.
The goal poacher has closed his Liverpool career chapter starting up a new life with Bayern Munich and his Liverpool team mates, coach, and fans bid him farewell upon his departure from the English club after an exciting run.
