The Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency and a Minister for communication, Ursula Owusu Akuffo has refurbished the children’s park in Damsoman.
The park was constructed 20 years ago and all the things in it has rusted and become old, she explained.
She later explained that, the last time she came to the park was last year, July, 2019. The state in which she came to see the place was very bad and nothing to write home about.
So she told herself she will go and raise funds and refurbish this play group for the children of Ablekuma West. And that’s exactly what she has done.
She later promised the constituency that, things are working in place, she is about to construct an arsto turf, a football park and a basketball court for the youth.
