Information reaching us is that , the inter cybercrime division of the Ghana police service has today caused massive raid in certain hot-spots which have been said to be the breeding grounds for cyber fraudsters.
The raided neighborhoods were Kasoa, Nungua, Tema, Maamobi, Ashaiman, Cantonments, and Spintex respectively.
The operation which was reported to have take place got 33 men arrested who were suspected to have involved in internet fraud. The suspects were arrested at their hideouts.
Following the arrest of the suspects, 20 cars, phones, laptops, and some fake documents were recovered from them.
They would sent to court after been investigated and would then be prosecuted. They would also be slapped with various forms of charges.
