One of Peace FM’s veteran Journalist, Kwame Sefa kayi, in some few years ago bumped into the former President, H.E John Dramani Mahama for clean-up exercise in some parts of the capital city, Accra. That left the popular Journalist gaping and was set ablaze over what he saw that day.
The former President was captured in several videos and pictures busily soaked in filth as he and the residents cleaned the choked gutters. Although the President saw it to be something normal, it didn’t settle well with Mr Sefa Kayi, who insisted that the residents could have still cleaned up gutters without the help of the former President.
When the industrious Journalist was giving his take on the issue at hand, he disclosed; “when I see my president at La clinic I now he cares for me when I see him at Atuabo, I know he cares for me once more. But when I saw in the gutters, I got upset. The president shouldn’t have gone into the gutters”.
“The AMA by-laws must be made to work. He must instruct the AMA boss to ensure that the work is done by the right people. We don’t need Mahama in the gutters to keep our surroundings clean for us,” the Journalist divulged.
