The ongoing Sim Card registration exercise which is being done across the country with the Ghana Card which is also expected to end in March this year is being organized on campus, Ringway Campus (Old Campus). There has been a change in the date.
The Students’ Representative Council is pleased to inform the general students populace about this urgent and needful exercise, the Sim Card registration scheduled on the old campus. This is circulated through a communique by the General Secretary to inform all students.

The exercise, which Ghanaians have taken it with much urgency because, if they don’t get their SIM cards registered with the Ghana card, they will be taken off from their Mobile Network their using.
The exercise will have on campus teams from the various telecommunications networks in the country; MTN, Vodophone, and AirtelTigo to assist students with the vital exercise which is ongoing.

The exercise is basically for the second phase of the whole registration exercise (capturing of biometric data).
This Sim Card registration exercise is set to happen on Monday, 24th to Tuesday, 25th January, 2022 at the Old Campus. That’s the new date now.
NB: All students are to make sure they have already done the first phase (i.e., linking your Ghana Card to your sim by dialing *404# across all networks and following the prompts) of the SIM card registration on the phone by themselves before coming.

Students are also advised to come along with all relevant documents and papers for a smooth process of registration.
I urge all students to take this registration exercise with much importance and get their SIM cards registered to still stay on the various telecommunications networks.
